HVAC Lead Technician/Installer

Salary: up to $32 Per Hour

Nicolet Heating & Cooling in Green Bay, WI is looking for full-time HVAC installers to assist with rough-in & finishes for commercial & residential projects. Pay is based on HVAC experience/knowledge. Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields is preferred but not required. Maintenance, Plumbing, Siding, Construction and Appliance Repair is beneficial. We offer training plans to help you reach your career goals in the HVAC field. Our installers typically work 4 days a week, 10 hours a day with Fridays off. Do you work well independently & as a part of a team? Are you motived & can meet goal deadlines? Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)
• Previous construction trade experience (Preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area.
• Connect heating or air conditioning equipment to fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form a complete circuit.
• Fabricate, assemble, or install duct work or chassis parts, using portable metal-working tools or welding equipment.
• Install auxiliary components to heating or cooling equipment, such as expansion or discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues, or stokers.
• Wrap pipes, securing insulation in place with cement or wire bands.
• Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers.
• Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe or tubing, using pipe fitter's tools.
• Cut or drill holes in floors, walls, or roof to install equipment, using power saws or drills.
